SLO Farm currently operates with a small crew – we are a young, growing farm and we just don’t have enough work right now to support more than a few people. All of our positions are Part-time and Seasonal. We are currently planning significant expansions, so the jobs we have available now can grow into more in the near future. We are seeking high energy individuals who can bring patience and a sense of humor to work.
Experience is required.
Applicants will be considered who have at least one full season work experience on a diversified Organic Farm.
Currently Available Positions at SLO Farm:
Orchard Assistant: June – October, 2 days/week.
Job Responsibilities: Thinning the fruit crop, Summer Pruning, Harvest
Field Assistant: August – September, 2 days/week
Job Responsibilities: Harvest, Wash, Sort & Pack, Weeding
Market Assistant: August – September, 1 day/week
Job Responsibilities: Assist customers at Farmer’s Market
